Tim is a Raleigh native and began his career with Wachovia Securities in 2003. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Senior Private Investment Management (PIM) portfolio manager. Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and studied at Nagoya University in Japan. Tim’s vision for the group is a comprehensive investment plan for each client, estate and family governance development as well as custom portfolio management of assets. He presently sits on the WakeMed Foundation Board of Directors and Finance Committee. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He is married to his college sweetheart, Kate, and has four children: Joe, Ben, Ryan and Eleanor. Tim spends free time with his family, competing in obstacle course races and traveling. He is an active member of the F3 Nation and holds a minority interest in the Carolina Hurricanes Hockey Club.**

Stephanie began her career as a financial advisor with Smith Barney in 2004 before joining Wells Fargo Advisors. She joined The Whitney Group in 2015; her core focuses are client meetings, information discovery and developing long term investment plans through Envision®. She works alongside Tim with the execution and research of investments through the Private Investment Management Portfolio Management platform. Stephanie obtained her Business Finance degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003 and earned her Masters of Business Administration from Elon University. She holds her Series 7, Series 66 licenses, and is in process of obtaining her Certified Financial Planner™ designation. Stephanie resides in Raleigh with her husband Britton and their two sons, James and Rankin. They enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Stephanie is an avid reader and a hot yoga enthusiast.
Tracey is a veteran of the financial services industry where she started her career with Wheat First Butcher Singer in 1996, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. She joined The Whitney Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2001 and has developed many relationships over these years. Tracey is a Series 7, 63, and 65 FINRA Registered Representative, and has been honored as a Distinguished Service Professional since 2010. As a senior member and central point of contact on the team, Tracey works closely with individuals and families to assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring long term financial plans.
Skyler is a native of Philadelphia. He received his Bachelors of Finance from Virginia Tech, and his masters in Financial Analysis and Risk Management from Temple University. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification as well as being a Chartered Financial Analyst. He focuses on comprehensive financial planning, risk, and portfolio management. He began his career at Morgan Stanley before joining The Whitney Group. He serves on the Finance Committee for the Wake Med Foundation, and the Business and Investment Committee for Carolina Friends School. He and his veterinarian wife, Claire, share their home with two dogs, three cats, and two tortoises. He is an avid soccer player and lifelong follower of his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
Steve began his career in 1981 with Bache, Halsey, Stewart and Shields, which was acquired by Prudential Securities in 1982. He later joined Merrill Lynch in 1992 and managed the Merrill Lynch office in Burlington, NC. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors in Burlington in 2010 where he also resides with his wife and has lived for most of his life. Steve graduated from Elon University before attending graduate school at NC State University in the MPA program. In addition to his 37 years of industry experience, Steve also has a strong passion for public service with over 20 years as a city councilman and former mayor of Burlington. He presently serves as a legislator for the North Carolina General Assembly. In his free time, Steve and his wife enjoy spending time with their four daughters and spouses, and seven grandchildren. When time permits, you will often find Steve relaxing at the family’s place on Bald Head Island.
